Four-finger stimulation device for use in the fMRI environment

• Stimulation achieved with piezoelectric actuators mounted on a plastic base with hand-shaped cut-out pattern
• Typically, stimulators are mounted under the thumb and pointer finger, but device can be customized
  
• Finger stimulation will be controlled via the PC parallel port, computer-controlled DAQ device, or custom digitial source.
• Both fingers may be stimulated at different frequencies completely independently of each other
• Device bandwidth is from DC to 700Hz (square wave)

• Uses only fiberoptics in scan room --  no metal parts at all
• USB interface for compatibility with Windows XP/Vista, modern Linux versions, and Mac OSX
• Joystick does not include any buttons
• The system will provide a resolution of 1024 points along each axis at a rate of 150Hz (limited by USB minimum update interval).

• USB port interface. Device will emulate a standard gaming device, such as a computer joystick with two axes
• Includes 10m cable inside magnet room, 3m cable in control room and all necessary DB25 connectors
• Up to 8 buttons on the controlled can chosen to be used with the USB interface

• Playstation 2 controller will have functionality in the two thumb-operated joysticks, and 8 buttons of your choice.
• The force-feedback "dual-shock" feature is NOT available

This system will include 4 MEMS gyroscope sensors (maximum rate of 300*/sec) that can be mounted on the subjects' fingers with included elastic straps

• Includes all necessary cabling (including site customizations)
• Includes power adapters, and eyetracker control box
• Tested to be compatible with SMI iViewX and Arrington Research Viewpoint. NOTE: Eyetracking software is NOT included with this device.
